What a month it has been! Thanksgiving, getting ready for Christmas, a new Nephew born, another trip to Orlando with hub, being sick for three weeks!, and making a billion purses! whew! I can't believe December starts tomorrow! hope you all had a good November!

birthdays

Image
i have some birthdays coming up, all boys...those are the hardest ones for me to make. I whipped these up the other night. all supplies are SU! except the ribbon which is from the $1 bin at Michael's. Plain. Simple. Easy. Happy Thanksgiving! cyndi

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas....

Image
so i did it. Showed the web page to the hub and he said, "how can you NOT do this? It's writing, and photography and scrappin' all things you love! Sign up and merry Christmas!" so i did! I will be officially taking the Journal your Christmas online class starting Dec 1st. This is my very first online class ever! I have to say i am excited. I have already started getting emails since i signed up last night welcoming me and letting me know how things are going to happen. There is a forum if participants want to join in on the group atmosphere of that. I got a file on how to prepare for the class today, and we all know i am an over achiever so i will certainly want to be ready on Dec. 1 st for the BIG first day of class! I am so excited, my scrapbooking and memory preserving has fallen way behind lately and i do love Christmas, so i am hoping this will be just the kick start I need to get those creative juices flowing again! Wish me luck! always cyndi

do they know it's Christmas time at all?

Image
I read about this in someone's blog..but i don't recall who. sorry. I am like that. but here is the link for Journal your Christmas . Really...how cool is this idea? I am going back and forth about actually signing up for the class...it sounds really cool..but do i really need to spend the money right now? hmmmm..... I did buy some super cheap Halloween crafty clearance stuff at Target today...think of the money i saved..lol!!! Anyway if i join or not..i am going to try and journal Dec. 1 thru Jan. 6th in this spiffy little book i made. I know i always say this..but it looks cuter in person. I started with a $1 notebook i got at Michael's, added some stuff and voila! presto changeo! Maybe it will help me with my quest to live more intentionally and to pay more attention to what i am doing, rather than on what i am waiting for or what i am planning on....yanno? always cyndi

what's been happenin' in frou frou land?

Image
Well, it's not been very frou frou that's for sure. The Duchess and I have been busy little bees sewing up about 50 purses in different sizes and shapes to sell at the school's fall festival. Our houses have been covered with have sewn bits for weeks. ! also, i just got back from a business trip with my DH. He went back to Orlando for a few days and i just couldn't bare to not go with him! It was a quick, but fun trip! I even got a bit of Christmas shopping done! also, i have been sick with Sinus crud and am feeling like...death warmed over. hopefully i will be inspired soon, and feel well enough to do something fun to show you! always cyndi

the last one...photo seven revealed!

Image
Photo seven is from EPCOT...... Mission Space!!!! the kids really like it...we of course rode the 'calmer' version, the one with out the g-force spinning! but we did ride twice because the kids liked it so much! Of course, one of their favorite things was the "play area" that this ride dumps you into. Arcade games and a play place similar to those at fast food chains....all that money for Disney and we could have just taken then down the street for some McFun!!! always cyndi

photo six...revealed!

You'll notice in the picture just above ^ that my DD is about to smack my DS...aren't they cute? So photo number six is indeed a picture of us with a Heffalump, in the gift shop right outside the Pooh ride. This ride is in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. The kids really liked this ride a lot...you ride in big honey pots!

We take a break from our riviting photo revealing to review all the fun we had in October! We had two birthdays, a trip to Disney and a trip to the pumpkin patch. BUSY month for us! always cyndi

photo five...revealed!

Ok, so no one cares , right? oh well, i am revealing anyway! This is from Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin located in tomorrow land in the Magic Kingdom. This was one of the Kid's favorite rides. We rode it maybe 5 or 6 times total..perhaps more! We all enjoyed it! DH and i would have rather spend our time on the Rockin' Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios...but this was cool too..and the kids loved it!

Photo four....revealed!

Image
so clearly my DD loved this ride and my DS hated it! yes, it is splash mountain in the magic kingdom. It is my mother's favorite ride! DS was much happier later when he got to go to the hall of the Presidents and see George Washington! always cyndi

Photo three...revealed!

You guessed it...Grape Girl was hanging out in the Animal Kingdom! I promise at first, it didn't' even look like a person, she was on stilts with extensions on her arms, covered all but her face, contorting her body and moving slowly as if she were a real moving grape vine. She totally freaked out the kids. lol. while we were there we all 6, kids and grandparents, rode expedition Everest! it rocked! the kids said they liked it ...but didn't want to ride again! have a great weekend! always cyndi

Photo two..revealed!

Photo two is from the Tusker House Restaurant in the Animal Kingdom. We went to "Donald's Safari Breakfast" our first morning. We got to meet, Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. The food was good, and interesting . being in the Africa part of the AK, it had traditional (?) African dishes in addition to "American" breakfast foods. I was adventurous and tried out some of them, some were good and some...not so much. The kids LOVED meeting the characters and getting autographs! Oh, and their "Jungle Juice" is excellent! I am not sure what all is in it..but it rocks! always cyndi

Photo one...revealed!

The first picture in my guessing game was....of course towels folded in our hotel room! The kids loved it...though i was sad that they didn't make animal characters all week long. We stayed in one of the "Dalmatian" buildings at the All-Star Movies resort! We really enjoyed our stay there. Lula, who is now a huge fan of the Suite life of Zack and Cody , kept referring to it as "the Tipton." Aren't kids cute? they had a playground and an excellent pool as well as a cafeteria style place to get food and a gift shop...of COURSE! The food was good and we were happy!
