actually 14 if you count the time we spend dating before we tied the knot! wow! (please excuse my loveliness...i was roughing it!)

My DH and i went away this past weekend for our anniversary. We stayed in the oh so cute cabin in the woods. When i looked out every window all i could see was green! Trees and sky, OH MY! how lovely. down the hill from us was a playground which we explored on one of our walks...we had to check it out in case we ever come back with the kids, right? It was a really wonderful weekend. No phone, no TV, no computer! totally unplugged except for out ipods and mine was on Jane Austen all weekend. Lots of time together..and the sounds of nature! I felt just like Snow White in the woods...except i didn't have any dwarfs to care for or to bring me jewels from the mine. I bet it is beautiful here in the fall and the fireplace would certainly come in handy then! nothing like a fire in a cabin. I just enjoyed being away from my life for a few days. My son was concerned that there was not a TV and my daughter worried that there might be bears in the forest! I worried that something would h...

ok, so i may have mentioned that i had to send my laptop off AGAIN...sigh! I love it and hate it because my DH can't rip it apart and fix it himself like our desktop! Well, i am waiting for it to come back...hopefully today. I will have a lovely blog about our weekend get away to a Snow White Cottage in the woods complete with pictures once my darling baby, the laptop comes back and my DH gets it restored so it is once again...MINE! always cyndi

Here is the other card we made at my friend's SU! party. isn't it cute??? I have been working on Mother's day cards...they are just moving slowly and i have sort of been in a funk lately. Moving slowly. Sorta depressed about nothing in general. I am going out of town this weekend with DH to celebrate our 9th anniversary! I will give you more on that later in the week. we are staying at the cutest place! Also for Mother's day, i am getting a flower garden along my fence in the back yard! I have been starting to collect the plants for that and am really looking forward to it! happy Sunday! always cyndi

at the SU! party i went to at my friend's house this is a card we made. How cute is it? Just have these bunch of random cards i wanted to share. All supplies are SU! The images are stamped with white craft ink and then "colored" with their chalk pastels. clever! always cyndi hope you are having a good weekend!

When i had my SU! party a while back, my fab 'dealer' Sharla Foy gave me this card. She knew i was wanting this hostess set and i think it was a bribe to encourage me to make it to a level 3 hostess status so i could get the stamp for myself! It is simple but cute and i DO love this set, though i have not had much chance to use it. Just thought i'd share it with you. always cyndi

My friend the Duchess loved this card when she saw it in the SU! catty. She bought the set and made several of the cards which she traded with me. all supplies are SU! except for the ribbon and it is just something she picked up somewhere. On an interesting side note, she is the QUEEN of bargains and i am compiling a list of all her super bargains for the month of April. Trust me, you will be shocked! Remember the fab Luau invites that started as a pack of 8 for $0.75! well, the place matts for the party she got for $0.10 each and she had coconut cream filled kisses and Hawaiian punch (super yummy) jelly beans in tiki cups sitting on the table...all on clearance for pennies on the dollar! We did also snag a good deal of treasures from the local, and not so local, Dollar Tree. (we hit several in town) We often, well as often as we can, shop together for bargains, especially if there is a scrap/card/session or a party in mind.
