Mom's Gone Wild...ok, so maybe not, but we did have a lot of fun! We left about 6:30 on Thursday evening and were there by 10:30 p.m. By the time we unloaded and got settled, it was nearly midnight but we were wired a bit from the trip so it was 1:00 a.m. before we hit the beds! We spent the day on Friday, shopping in the pouring down rain and wind! Outlets and scrap/stamp stores! We went out for dinner that evening and were ready to relax the next day! Amanda, Me, Melissa and Heather.... chillin' after a hard day of shopping! Heather, Amanda and Melissa on the beach! Saturday was beautiful! we walked on the beach and did pedicures, played a card game, and just relaxed! None of us wanted to come home!!! Things are crazy busy here for me from being out of town, but i will be back to post later this week something...not sure what, but something!

four days and counting! me and 3 of my very best girlfriends are headed to the gulf coast for the weekend. We will be leaving on Thursday night and spending the entire weekend shopping and relaxing! how lucky are we to be able to do this! I keep praying for good weather! I have made some spa cans for us all. Above are a few of the things that are included in the can. All the cans, four total, are a bit different but here are two of them and you can get the general idea. I used formula cans which my husband attached handles to. The flet things hanging off the lids are some whohas that i got at Michael's on clearance for like twentyfive cents a pack, three per pack. i used DP from the Dollar tree and SU! bubble queen for the stamps. I put some irridescent glitter glue on the bubbles and some chip board flowers. I used modge podge on the cans to seal it all and hold it together. the ribbon on the handles is from my after christmas clearance shopping spree!

here's a couple of cards i made using my new Studio G clear stamps from Michael's. I love them! I have had to force myself to use them to make cards. I guess because they are so small, the images that is, i really have to think about how to make a card with them. So i am stretching myself to use them. sorry I haven't posted much in a few weeks. I have had a lot going on personally, and it looks like there is no end in sight! I am very excited to be going out of town...you can see the count down at the top of my blog...with my girlfriends next weekend. We all need a get away! have a great day!

So this is a switchplate cover i made for a friend of mine. He is a huge sports fan and a huge UAB fan so i threw this together for him. we just repainted his living room and i thought this would make it a bit unique. He lives in an apartment so there isn't a lot we can do. I just used modge poge and added some DP and some images i swiped from various sources. He liked it so i thought i would share it with you. have a great weekend
