lost in loveland

Image
well, i have tried, really i have, to catch up on my Days of love...alas i am still behind. I did want to share with you the book/card i made for my DH for V day though. I was really very proud of it and pleased with how it turned out. I used some chipboard coasters that i had picked up in a $1 bin somewhere and decoupaged them with photos and brown paper bag scraps. (if the coasters are glossy...sand them a bit first) I used various things for embellishments...whatever i had laying around that seemed like it would work.

more cards from the set...

Here are the rest of the cards from the set i made for my Mom for Christmas. I used SU! stamps, ink and paper. The embellishments...who knows..i can't keep up with all that! I am lucky to have time to stamp! Hope you are all having a great start to 2009!' always cyndi

I'll show the rest later! always cyndi

Here is the storage behind my desk. all those little wicker bins on the right are full of misc embellishments, etc. I have scrap and extra ribbon stored here in jars by color. I am working on something to store my rolls of ribbon on. I have this magnetic board and stuff next to my desk! this is how i have my SU! stamps stored for now. I know you are thinking i don't have enough, right? my husband would disagree! And this is the little corner for my DD with her craft stuff and kitchen. the kids love to play while i am up there working. I think it is going to work out nicely! always cyndi

School's out for SUMMER!

Image
well...almost anyway! I worked on some Teacher gifts last week. We have four days to go this week. My mojo was running high so i made the goodies and my BFF is going to make tags for them and package them for us to give to our teachers. Sorry the pictures are so bad...last week was busy! But when the creative juices start flowing...you just go with them and don't fight it. So this set includes an altered composition note book, a decorated lip balm holder, which i got the patter for from "Stamp on This" http://indyemmert.blogspot.com/2007/11/happy-thanksgiving.html . Also a decorated water bottle which i got from "iStamp" http://stampinat6213.blogspot.com/2008/05/tart-tangy-water-bottles.html and key ring post it notes that i got from "Chic n' Scratch" http://chicnscratch.typepad.com/chic_n_scratch/2008/02/post-it-note-ke.html . these are all wonderful blogs and i dearly thank these ladies for posting better directions than i could ever come up ...
