Right now i am up to my eyeballs planning, or finishing up, a Webkinz party for my DD's 5th Bday. It has been a lot of fun to work on, and i have gotten some GREAT ideas from a friend of a friend...and that has helped a lot! The biggest issues i have had is that there are NO party products that are already ready already so i am having to make everything!!! which is cool, and time consuming. It also involves a lot of computer work, some of which is out of my league, so my DH is having to do it for me. *smile* thanks darlin!
I will have a lot of pictures to show you coming up and i will try to start posting some soon. If you don't know about Webkinz, what rock have you been living under? check them out... www.webkinz.com It is really cool. I am just as addicted as the kids are, in fact i need to see what's in the curio shop this hour!
more details soon!

Yeah, the closest we've come yet to mass-produced themes was my son's second birthday. Curious George. Last year, I thought we were safe with the monsters, but unless you're going specifically with Monsters, Inc., you're out of luck. And this year it's Robin Hood--Robin WHO?? Connor's begun a trend of mildly obscure theme ideas, and it's forced me to get creative.
Admittedly, I enjoy that.
I'm just glad I was able to talk him down from his first idea this year: children's theatre (whose kid is this boy??). I think I need a couple more years to put together something of that magnitude.
We have had some interesting themes over the years here, Indiana Jones, the old school of course, flowers, lady bugs, clowns, animals, thomas the tank engine, elmo...sigh. James is thinking super heros for his in sept. maybe i should start working on it now.
