I told you guys before that my Best friend the Duchess, aka Melissa, is the best bargain shopper i know. She is always finding things on sale or at a discount store. I have composed a list, JUST from April of all the things she bought that were on clearance. This does not include bargains she might have found at stores like Ross or TJ Maxx unless they were on clearance there. Also this list does not include things she got on sale at the grocery store, used a coupon for that ended up costing her just pennies. This is JUST actual clearance items! It is astounding!

I told you she was amazing...and that is not even why she is my very BEST FRIEND!

I know there are a few things that didn't make the list that she lost her receipts for, like some clothing she bought for her toddler a couple of days ago and some deodorant that i remember her telling me about.lol!

I am afraid if that is the best photo you have of me!! And the deodorant- Secret Clinical Strength 1.6 oz with bonus .5oz travel size reg 7.99 on sale for 5.58 (would have been better had I remembered my $2 off coupon). The clothes...1 pair shoes, 5 tops and 2 bottoms from babies r us for about $28. You are crazy for making me do this, but thanks for letting me know my average savings. love you-the Duchess

 So, I think i have talked about it here, maybe not. I can't remember anymore. I am too lazy to look back and see right now.  I started a while back, hmmmmm maybe a year ago? I felt like i needed to get off my crazy meds.  My dose was low, lower than the "recommended" dosage. I had been on them for years!!!! and i just felt like it was time.  I have a sweet, kind, amazing friend who is going through similar things and we talk about our depression, our kids and our faith. When I told her i wanted off my meds she said, "I know what you mean about having chemicals in your body, like in some ways it might make you feel better, but you don't feel like yourself and then some of the side effects really suck." That made me think. a lot. I had not seen life without the numbing grey of my antidepressants in over a decade. Who was I without the meds? What was life really like? could I handle it? would i literally fall apart?? Could i survive the withdrawal? sigh.

Well, my DD has been home sick from school for two days but seems to be on the mend. Hopefully she will go tomorrow. Needless to say i have not done much creatively in the past couple of days. I do have some things to show you though. This is FINALLY the last of the Valentine's Topiaries! This one took forever!
